Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Gala

Hello Fashionistas!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Gala was on May 2, and the celeb's fashion choices did not disappoint! Some of the red carpet trends of the night were metallics, one-shouldered dresses, and the color red! Let me show you some of my favorites of the night..

Winner!!! Hands down my favorite dress of the night, and definitely in my top five J-Lo dresses of all time. Designer: Zuhair Merad.

I love Kerry Washington's red hot number! It's a fun combination of suede and leather, and the color is just perfect on her. Designer: Thakoon for Gap.

Zoe Saldana's one-shouldered dress is definitely working on her! She manages to look classy and trendy at the same time in this navy blue Calvin Klein dress.

Sienna Miller is a great example of matching her shoes to her dress- but looking great! Sometimes matching shoes and dress can look too matchy matchy. But Sienna pulls it off! Designer: Emilio Pucci

Eva Longoria rocks her long trained dress, even with her small frame. Speaking as a petite myself, I know how hard this is to do! Designed by Marchesa.

Emma Watson wins the award for incorporating the most trends into one look. One-shouldered, white, and ruffles. Looks adorable on her!
Designer: Burberry

Looks like Anne Hathways has turned back to her Princess Diaries roots! She's wearing a stunning sequined ballgown by Valentino.

I'm loving Camilla Alves 50's retro red dress- looks very classy and elegant! Jason Wu.

I just had to include this picture simply because Hugh Dancy is in it. *Sigh* I have been crushing on this teenage heartthrob ever since he graced us with his presence on the big screen in "Ella Enchanted" with Anne Hathaway. Doesn't his tux look great on him? Oh, and Claire, you don't look too bad yourself ;)

And the worst of the night goes to... Katy Perry. Her dress had glow sticks sewn inside. Props for the creativity, but... I'm so not digging it. Designer: CuteCircuit

Hope you enjoyed these red carpet looks as much as I do!

Peace, Love, and Fashion!
